Sunday – The high moves closer still and the skies dry out further in the east, however the lower South Island (mostly Southland and Coastal Otago) still have colder air plus cloud and showers coming off the Southern Ocean. Most eastern and northern regions of both main islands dry out further on Sunday. A few showers and more cloud remain/return in the west.
