High pressure continues to grow today but showers continue on in the upper North Island.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Showers and patchy rain, especially the further north you go, some falls may be heavy – but isolated. Quite cloudy. Easterlies return. Mainly dry from Waikato southwards.
Highs: 12-17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
A mix of sun and cloud, light winds from the SE fading.
Highs: 14 – 16

Eastern North Island
Southerlies and cloudy areas. Coolest weather overnight around Wairarapa with clearer skies developing there first.
Highs: 12 – 14

Wellington
A mix of sun and cloud with brisk southerlies continuing, but easing later.
High: 13

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 14-16

Canterbury
A mix of sun and cloud with light winds from the SW. May be some early and overnight fog.
Highs: 13-14

West Coast
Sunny with light winds.
Highs: 14-16

Southland & Otago
A mix of sun and cloud, might be a frost tonight. Light winds.
Highs: 10-13
