Apart from some isolated showers (and maybe an isolated northern thunderstorm) the North Island looks mostly dry over the days ahead, while some wet weather affects the south-west corner of the South Island, otherwise dry there too.
Subtropical airflows, Australian airflows and north to north-west winds will keep many regions warmer than average over the days ahead.
Next week low pressure comes back – bringing a higher chance for rain in the west and perhaps some pockets of windier weather.
We have your NZ forecast out to the middle of next week + your 7 Day Rainfall Map.
