Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Showers ease during the day, sunny spells break through at times. Fresh southwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Showers, some may be heavy then clearing by evening. Cool southwesterly winds, gusty about the coast.
Highs: 10-14

Eastern North Island
Showers, clearing later in the evening. Cool southwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Wellington
Rain eases to showers early in the morning, clearing around midday then sunny spells increase. Fresh southerly winds, easing evening.
High: 13

Marlborough & Nelson
Morning showers clear then becoming sunny around midday, southwesterlies die out early afternoon.
Highs: 15-16

Canterbury
Early showers clear then becoming mostly sunny, southwesterly winds die out in the afternoon.
Highs: 10-12

West Coast
Early cloud breaks away then sunny with southwesterly winds. Cloud thickens again overnight.
Highs: 12-14

Southland & Otago
Any early cloud clears then sunny with light west to northwest winds, afternoon northeasterlies about coastal Otago.
Highs: 13-14
