We have a couple of sunnier more settled days but on Sunday the weather goes downhill again as low pressure in the Southern Ocean combines with high pressure over Australia to produce a polar southerly.
In fact it looks like there will be a number of cold fronts between Sunday and Tuesday bringing snow to the mountains and ranges, strong to gale force winds in some areas and heavy rain in the west.
Driest and sunniest regions over the next several days will be those that face north and north east.
