A tropical low has formed over Vanuatu and may become a cyclone this weekend before tracking south towards NZ.
If it does become a tropical cyclone it’s likely to be short lived as it moves from north to south and into the Tasman Sea area.
High pressure will likely be exiting the NZ area next week which means this tropical rainmaker has a chance of dragging plenty of wet and very humid weather into NZ.
We have the latest outlook on this through into next week.
