The next 24 hours in NZ will see a snowy change move up the country but it won’t be a major event – nor will it linger.
A big block of high pressure in eastern Australia will take this week to drift to NZ – bringing a settled weekend to most of NZ.
As it departs Australia a storm in the Southern Ocean will brush southern coastal parts in the days ahead – with the system falling apart next week in the NZ area as a windy spring-like westerly.
