VIDEO: Southern Ocean storms to fuel windy westerlies off & on from Sunday

Spring weather conditions continue with some in the eastern North Island experiencing mid-summer heat in the week ahead as more windy west to north-west winds return.

Some parts of NZ again have sub-tropical connections in the week ahead, boosting the heat. But many regions are dry or fairly dry – the exception being the West Coast where 100 to 150mm are possible.
