The weather around New Zealand remains unsettled for a couple more days but high pressure is returning – bringing South Island frosts back (and some Central North Island ones too), cooler/colder air, and drier skies for most regions.
The next high is a powerful one – and there may be more behind it too. At the same time, we also have some very large storms in the Southern Ocean – this can bring changeable weather to NZ (which is what we get all year round!) but even more so in July and August.
Full details for the days ahead, the weekend – and the outlook for the start of next week.
