We have a fairly calm week this week with an easterly kicking in, bringing some rain to the east in a developing easterly flow (especially the North Island) over the next few days.
Overnight lows this week are around average to below average while daytime highs look mostly above normal nationwide by a couple to several degres.
A few frosts are possible this week, mostly isolated, inland and light.
