We track the next week of rainfall chances in the NZ area, but also monitoring the tropics with a number of “areas of concern” as low pressure continues to try to spin up a tropical cyclone.
High pressure in the NZ area is actually the most dominant force – holding the tropical lows back from expanding properly and ensuring much of NZ and Australia remains drier than usual for the next week ahead.
We also cover the 7 Day Rainfall Map for NZ plus the latest on the Drought Index.
