High pressure may be moving over northern NZ but it will help create a windier westerly across the country which peaks on Anzac Day Thursday and will turn cooler sou’west by Friday.
Many places will be a bit windy on Friday with showers mainly in the west and south – and a dusting of snow on the Southern Alps.
Despite it almost being May many places remain frost free due to it either being too cloud, too windy or too mild (or all three!).
