Rain is coming into the North Island and brushing some parts of the South Island over the next few days as low pressure from the Tasman Sea moves in. As always, refer to your local WeatherWatch or RuralWeather rain forecast to drill down deeper locally + use MetService warnings and watches.
The rain bands are “lumpy” and messy and means some areas my have rain heavy enough to cause slips/flooding but others nearby might not. By this weekend another southerly flow is back into NZ with more winter-like temperatures.

Will it be stormy in Auckland? Will the weather settle down on Wednesday?
