We have very little in the way of extreme weather this week but a couple of cold fronts, a weak low, and some warmer than average weather are all in the mix.
Basically, a weak low will cross the North Island today and tonight and bring some very patchy hit and miss rain and showers to the North Island. Heaviest falls look to be around East Cape and Gisborne.
Winds are fairly light in many regions but south to south westerlies this weekend look to pick up.
