VIDEO: More northern rain, then a nationwide southerly for Fri/Sat

As rain spreads over the North Island today another cold southerly is on the way – but this time that cold southerly will go nationwide bringing a temperature drop to every part of the country.

There may even be a dusting of snow on Friday on the Desert Road.

By Sunday windy nor’westers return with a classic cold front coming into NZ.

Over in Australia frosts are coming – but so too is another wet and windy cold front for early next week for the south eastern corner of the nation.
