A cooler change at the weekend and today is a hint that a new Autumn weather pattern is forming – but we’re not done with the summer heat just yet.
High pressure smothers NZ this week bringing mostly dry weather in the days ahead.
However by Thursday a windy westerly kicks in over the South Island and up to the lower North Island with gales in some places and some heavy rain on the West Coast. As we head into Friday and Saturday downpours and showers affect the North Island with higher humidity.
