We have two lows with sub-tropical connections and two Southern Ocean southerlies – all between now and Monday!
Welcome to the chaos that is spring weather!
Basically we have a sub-tropical low moving in tonight in the upper North Island with a windy, cooler, SW change. Northland may be very windy for a time tonight, Auckland is on the edges of this.
On Friday the nation has a cooler change which fades on Saturday. But on Sunday the North Island has milder winds while the South Island has much colder South Ocean winds. Monday next week sees a messy set up with rain, warm, cold and sun.
