Today we take you to the bottom of the South Island and this week elusive323 took footage from Bluff Hill overlooking Foveaux Strait and in the distance is Stewart Island.
This area is often battered by strong westerlies but this summer the westerly hasn’t been as predominant.
This was on a day where cloud and drizzle along the east coast hung around for days but the easterly often can deliver sunny skies on the southern coastline.
