In our first 7 Day Pacific Islands update of 2024 all eyes are on Queensland, Australia as yet another cyclone moves in. At the time of recording this the tropical storm wasn’t named. It’s likely to make landfall south of Townsville (or near there) on Thursday PM. We’ll have a SPECIAL CYCLONE VIDEO out on Wednesday afternoon for this.

Elsewhere and FIJI, TONGA, NIUE and SAMOA have plenty of thunderstorms and downpours – both the further south you are the better chances you have of a “cool change” out of NZ slightly dipping temps and humidity.
