VIDEO: Drier higher pressure for NZ as lows try to move in

The weather is calmer over most of NZ for the next few days as high pressure crosses the country and parks out to our east until the start of next week. Despite at least three low pressure systems wanting to move across New Zealand it’s likely this belt of high pressure will continue to be more dominant, meaning all regions will leaning drier than usual for this time of year over the next several days ahead.

We also monitor a sub-tropical storm that may enhance surf conditions in the eastern upper North Island, but make for more dangerous rips and waves on some of those beaches.

*Programming Note: After a busy few weeks for us, we’re having a 3 day weekend and taking this Friday off… specifically because the weather is quiet right now. 🙂
