Colder air moves further north today with frosts possible through inland areas. Eastern areas will be coolest.

Some showers are likely in the very north of the North Island.

On Wednesday the next cold change comes into the lower South Island with a dusting of snow on the ranges and rain showers elsewhere in the south.

Most other places are dry.
