The weather is looking pretty good across the country today as high pressure balloons out from the north and cool winds fade away.

PRECIPTITATION:
Rain is likely to develop around Fiordland.

An early shower is possible in coastal Northland (isolated only).

WINDS:
Light winds in the North Island with a slight SW flow around Auckland and western Northland. A slight NW flow develops in the lower South Island.

Over the South Island a slight west to north west flow develops (helps make for a mild afternoon).

TEMPS
By afternoon many parts of New Zealand will be warmer than average by a few to several degrees! (Monday’s even warm by the way).

SOUTH ISLAND: 12 to 19
