Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Showers and sunny spells, showers clearing in the evening. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-16

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Showers, perhaps a period of a rain for a time early afternoon as northwesterly winds change southerly. Showers clearing in the evening.
Highs: 8-13

Eastern North Island
Rain about Wairarapa spreading northwards during the afternoon, rain clears overnight. Light winds then southerly winds picking up.
Highs: 12-15

Wellington
Rain ,easing during the morning and clearing in the afternoon. Fresh southerly winds.
High: 11

Marlborough & Nelson
Morning rain (more so about Marlborough) then cloud breaks away in the evening, fresh southerlies die out later in the day.
Highs: 12-14

Canterbury
Showers ease then clear early afternoon, sunny areas then increase. Southwesterly winds die out by evening.
Highs: 8-11

West Coast
Sunny with easing southeasterly winds.
Highs: 12-14

Southland & Otago
Any morning cloud clears then sunny with light winds.
Highs: 8-11
