RainWatch: 12 hours forecast rainfall up until 1am Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

It’s fairly dry around most of the country today but the odd light shower or drizzle patch develops for some. Starting about Northland and Auckland, a light shower or two may push into western areas in a southwest airflow. From Wellington in the south up to Gisborne in the east there may be a light shower or drizzle patch at times, Hawkes Bay could stay fairly dry. Cloudy conditions about the eastern South Island may bring a light shower or drizzle patch at times for inland areas from this afternoon. The shower risk about the Nelson region mainly comes late afternoon / evening but any showers if they do form will be very isolated.

The odd coastal shower about Southland clears away this morning.
