Morning Extremes…

Windiest

  • Wellington city – gales, gusting to 100km/h (gusts to 130km/h on the ranges)
  • Christchurch, near gale, gusts to 67km/h
  • New Plymouth – gusts to 57km/h

Wettest

  • Oddly, the usually dry Blenheim has been the wettest centre this morning,
  • Nelson comes in second place
  • Milford

Warmest

  • Napier, Hastings, New Plymouth, Kaikohe on 17 degrees
  • Ohakea, Gisborne and Masterton on 16

Its our turn now – we don’t want it. too many weekend plans. Its cooler in Palmerston North – odd shower is floating around, the skies are darken, so guess its coming this way soon. Gentle breeze to none at times.

Are we in for a lightning or thunder storm or two Phil?
