Regular WeatherWatch.co.nz visitor CH Davis has sent us a Christmas Card using a photo recently taken in Cable Bay, Northland.
Pohutakawa are fully in flower across the country – our very own native Christmas tree.
CH Davis has sent us many photos over the year, in particular some great storm and flood images. Thanks very much!

…and, did you know you really made me work hard that day when you posted a message for the Weather Watch readership regulars to send in and upload their 2009 Summertime photographs. I would love to say also that I have enjoyed looking at all the recent photographs uploaded onto the 2009 Summertime gallery – great pics everyone! *thumbs up*.
Thank you, Phil and all the great Weather Watch Center team (behind the scenes) for creating such a uniquely kiwiana NZ seasoned and flavoured weather website *thumbs up*.
It’s been great reading all the wonderful, informative and interesting weather related news articles nationally and internationally shared on the website over this past year.
A personal fav weather highlight would be reading of Phil’s recent journey to CNN weather center and reading of his experience there and his weather report from Canada – awesome.
Severe storm events for 2009 reported and followed up by Weather Watch I remember would be the July event that turned to sadly claimed a life and turned tragedy and the severe storm event in Tauranga – Papamoa.
Thank you, to Weather Watch for keeping it’s readership up to date with all the latest storm events – greatly appreciated.
Very best wishes and season greetings to everyone.
CH Davis 🙂
