InfoGraphic: The Big Picture for Tuesday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

An anticyclone brings mainly settled weather to New Zealand on Tuesday.

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather for most North Island regions on Tuesday, light winds then afternoon sea breezes. Isolated showers may develop about the ranges of Hawkes Bay and Gisborne in the afternoon then clearing evening.

A very similar picture for the South Island, any morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather then isolated showers possible in the afternoon about inland areas east of the main divide then clearing in the evening.
