Saturday continues to see a northwesterly airflow over the country. A series of fronts push over the country on Sunday moving in from west to east.
Occasional showers for western regions on Saturday, Auckland and Northland may see long dry periods compared to elsewhere. Drier in the east with some high cloud, especially for the South Island.
Rain or showers at times for western regions on Sunday, out east conditions are drier with areas of high cloud. In the east there may be a few spots of rain just before dawn then it’s mainly dry, during the afternoon and evening there may be a few further spots of rain especially for the North Island’s east coast.
