Tomorrow sees a southerly quarter airflow lying over New Zealand then on Sunday a ridge slips in for some time although a feature about Northland and another about North Westland may deliver heavy showers.
Sunny for the west of the South Island on Saturday, the odd shower in the east Banks Peninsula northwards. Showers for the east of the North Island ease from afternoon becoming patchy, sunny spells for the west of the North Island however about the Waikato and Auckland isolated showers develop in the afternoon some possibly becoming heavy.
Sunday is more settled however a stream of heavy showers may affect Northland during the day, also about North Westland in the South Island. From afternoon the odd shower moves into Southland and Otago.
