Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny spells with the odd shower possible about Northland and Auckland, mostly sunny for the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 14-15

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Showers about Kapiti, Manawatu and Central North Island during the day, further west towards Taranaki skies are drier with areas of sun. Showers clear later in the evening. Cool southwesterly winds.
Highs: 9-13

Eastern North Island
A few showers about the Wairarapa spreading into Hawkes Bay and Gisborne during the afternoon, some sun before showers move in. Conditions drying up overnight. Fresh cool southwesterly winds.
Highs: 11-14

Wellington
Showers, clearing in the evening. Fresh southerly winds.
High: 11

Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny for Nelson, morning cloud breaks to a sunny day about Marlborough. Southwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-15

Canterbury
Cloudy areas and the odd patchy shower possible, southwesterly winds, a little gusty about the coast in the morning.
Highs: 9-11

West Coast
Sunny with light southerly quarter winds.
Highs: 12-14

Southland & Otago
A few showers about Southland, mainly morning then again overnight. Otago has drier weather with areas of cloud and occasional sun, still a shower or two possible mainly late afternoon / evening. West to southwesterly winds.
Highs: 10-11
