Dunedin, along with Blenheim are already in the low 20s this morning as a warm nor’ wester hangs about. Gisborne and Napier are on 20 degrees with a very warm Boxing day likely.

Not surprisngly Milford Sound is seeing the heaviest rain this morning in a nor’ west flow but the strongest winds are in the nation’s capital with a northerly gusting up to 50kph.
