With much of the country suffering in extremely dry conditions, and an official drought announcement made last week for some of our most important farming areas, it’s fair to say we need some rain – and soon.

The immediate future doesn’t hold much hope, with several large high pressure systems set to dominate our weather for the rest of the month, while the start of March is also looking dry at this stage.

We wanted to know just how badly our readers needed rain, or whether there are some parts of the country where conditions are holding steady…
