A fresh start to Sunday

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A cool start to the morning across many areas with Wellington the mildest on 14 degrees along with a breezy northerly.

Some rain is expected in the capital but probably not until this evening which may not gladen the hearts of many Black Caps fans.
The second cricket test enters day 4 today with New Zealand struggling to overhaul a winning total of just over 400 against Pakistan.

The north of the country is expected to see the most settled weather today as another frontal system moves in from the Tasman Sea, seeing cloud and wind building in many central and southern areas with some rain or showers likely during the day or tonight.
