A burst of rain is moving into the North Island for Saturday with a mix of drizzle and isolated heavy downpours – with a chance of a few thunderstorms.
As the day wears on the front weakens and by night time should be clearing and easing.
On Sunday the entire country is under high pressure bringing light winds and mostly dry weather.
