There’s plenty of showers, cloud and a bit of wind around the west of the North Island as we head into a long weekend, though there’s also many places looking clear and sunny.

Main centres aren’t looking too bad as we head into the weekend, though the central part of New Zealand is under the influence of a low pressure system pushing in some wet weather at times.
