Your responses about the height of summer

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A couple of days ago we asked readers if they were over the heat or enjoying the settled spell and here’s some of their responses.

Dale replied with – Two minds for me.. I’m over all the Westland rain.. but I also work in & amongst huge steam vats full of logs.. so those & hot weather don’t go too well with me.

Jenny from Canterbury commented – I’m looking forward to the sun in CHCH as we’re getting to outside of you’re house repaired, please be sunny.

Student Caitlin has been a little frustrated – i want longer holidays!!! school next week. way too hot to b inside doing work.

Dayna also from the Coast remarked – from the west coast here, happy for some sun, typical schools back next week! lol but pools out for the dry spell.

Dane is concerned about a parched Auckland region – Praying for rain in Albany, just a weeks worth of 100mm and I’ll be happy.

Facebook reader on WeatherWatch.co.nz simply said – Summer means sunny & dry doesnt it?Always the best weather in February.

One reader summed it up with – Can we order sunny days and overnight rain? that way we all win 🙂

Thanks for your comments and it seems we’re wanting a bit of everything at the moment.

Just the odd shower is popping up but mostly dry conditions are set to continue in the forseeable future.
