Warnings have been issued regarding strong nor’ west winds over parts of central and southern parts of New Zealand this afternoon.
Oddly enough frosts were recorded in numerous central and northern regions this morning so to have glaes on the back of that is quite a variation.
Cloud has built over western parts as an incoming front moves in from the Tasman Sea but as it moves over the nation tomorrow it’ll lose most of its bite and struggle to make much impact over the upper north.
We’d like to get your thoughts on what’s happening where you are this afternoon.Has cloud built up and has the wind increased?Has it warmed up at all?
Tonight cool to cold temperatures are likely again over northern New Zealand but milder conditions should prevail over parts of the south before the front skirts by.

Cracker day here, best in weeks in fact. Frost this morning which has probably put paid to my beans & tomatoes.
Hopefully no frost in the morning, certainly the southerly wind seems to have changed to a NE or N this afternoon.
Cheers

Its 8/8 Blue sky horizon to horizon today and light winds, makes a change to the usual anticyclonic SW flow and stayed to the south for once instead of up the SI westcoast onto the top western part of the country.
