WELLINGTON FOG DISRUPTS TRAVELLERS

WeatherWatch.co.nz

> From the WeatherWatch archives

There have been a few hold ups this morning in Wellington due to thick fog.  According to our Weather Watch reporter in Wellington, Lee Densem, fog caused issues at Wellington airport, causing some flight delays.  The thick fog also caused commuter problems for motorists in Upper Hutt and the Ngauranga Gorge.  However around noon the fog cleared leaving spectactular blue skies over the Capital.  Winds should pick up this afternoon or evening with fog not expected tomorrow morning.
