The weather this weekend is different from North Island to South Island as tropical air behind ex-cyclone Winston spills down over the North Island.
At the same time this humid wind flow is developing, a cold front is moving north – and the North Island will see some heavy downpours developing later Saturday and across Sunday and Monday – particularly the top half.
Next week high pressure rolls in from the west and the humidity eases in most northern places by the end of Monday.
