Check out the weekend forecast as ex-cyclone Debbie starts to move away from New Zealand during Friday and a large high starts to roll in.
While it will be cold at night to begin with for many areas, the daytime weather looks pretty settled and dry apart from one or two showers.
The high is strong and will cover most of the country, but humidity starts again in the north on Sunday and by next week we may be seeing another big rain maker move into New Zealand.
