The West Coast is in for another week and half of rain, sometimes heavy, while many other central and eastern areas are in for windy conditions. It will be mild across most of NZ with temperatures well above average. MetService has severe weather warnings in force.
A low in the Southern Ocean is mostly responsible for this weather – and will take at least another week or longer to clear New Zealand.
