Mainly settled around New Zealand today with light winds, a stationary front over the lower North Island weakens. Conditions are fairly dry but some western North Island regions see showers this afternoon, Fiordland also sees a few showers further south.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Humid with cloudy areas, occasional showers. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 23-25
Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly cloudy and humid. A few spits and showers, morning rain for Taranaki then easing. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 20-22
Eastern North Island
Mostly cloudy, a spit or shower possible. Sun may break through about Wairarapa late afternoon / evening. Light northerly winds.
Highs: 23-25
Wellington
Any morning light showers clear, cloud breaks to afternoon sun. Northerlies.
Highs: 19-22
Marlborough & Nelson
Morning cloud then becoming mostly sunny by midday, afternoon north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 22-26
Canterbury
Mostly sunny, some high cloud. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 19-21
West Coast
Cloudy areas and occasional sun, chance of a light shower especially for Fiordland. Light winds.
Highs: 18-23
Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light northerlies tend more onshore during the afternoon. Some rain overnight for Southland.
