It’s a wintry day over New Zealand as polar heads covers the entire nation, with the coldest pulse of air moving up the nation today and tonight, followed by increasing high pressure.
Cold air will linger into the weekend, especially around the North Island, but frosty weather also expands in the South Island as high pressure comes in this weekend with lighter winds and clearer skies.
