Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud, cloud may be thicker in the morning, chance of a shower or two. Bay Of Plenty has a sunny day. Southwesterlies.
Highs: 16-18

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Partly cloudy, risk of a shower or two. West to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 12-17

Eastern North Island

Sunny, light winds.
Highs: 17-18

Wellington

Mostly sunny, northerly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny, high cloud later in the day. Gentle afternoon north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 16-18

Canterbury

Mostly sunny, some cloud may start to develop from afternoon as light winds tend to the south. Late afternoon or evening showers for South Canterbury.
Highs: 11-16

West Coast

Patchy rain or showers, heavy rain for South Westland. Buller may stay dry. Northeasterly winds.
Highs: 13-16

Southland & Otago
Mostly cloudy with rain, it may be dry at first for northern parts of Otago then rain moves in. South to southeasterly winds.
