Hi David, the national forecast is a generic snap shot at NZ *region* wide. Right now (and most of this morning) northern Hawke’s Bay has had rain – and still has it set in: https://www.weatherwatch.co.nz/maps-radars/radar/rain-radar. If you look at our actual local 10 day Hawke’s Bay weather forecasts you will see we are forecasting a sunny dry day in Napier and a wet day in Wairoa. For the most up to date weather at your specific spot always refer to your local WW forecast, not our general news and regional stories which are more for people travelling or moving about.
Cheers
WW
