Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud with light winds tending easterly or northeast, there may be a drizzle patch or light shower in the morning about the Coromandel.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Any early cloud clears then sunny with light winds.
Highs: 16-19

Eastern North Island

Sunny with afternoon east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 18-19

Wellington

Sunny, northerlies pick up later in the day.
High: 17

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny, afternoon north to northwest winds.
Highs: 17-20

Canterbury

Sunny, light winds tend east to northeast in the afternoon near the coast.
Highs: 17-19

West Coast

Sunny weather, some cloud about Fiordland brings the odd drizzle patch. Light winds.
Highs: 14-17

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light north to northwesterly winds. Winds tend northeast in the afternoon about coastal Otago.
