An anticyclone covers most of New Zealand today bringing mainly settled weather.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud, areas of sun longer during the afternoon. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 26-31

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
A mix of sun and cloud with afternoon west to northwesterly winds, chance of an isolated shower about some inland hills / ranges late afternoon or evening otherwise mainly dry.
Highs: 25-29

Eastern North Island
Mostly sunny after any morning cloud breaks away, some high cloud during the day. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 26-30

Wellington
A mix of sun and cloud with Northerly winds.
High: 24-25

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 26-33

Canterbury
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, easterly winds.
Highs: 29-31

West Coast
Mostly cloudy about South Westland with patchy rain or showers, winds from the northeast. North Westland sees sunny areas and some high cloud with westerly winds.
Highs: 21-30

Southland & Otago
High cloud with a few spots of rain at times, long dry periods with some sun now and then also. Northwesterly winds for most however afternoon easterlies about coastal Otago.
Highs: 25-31
