A north to northeasterly airflow lies over New Zealand tonight, a few patchy areas of rain about some South Island areas clear later this evening. For the North Island most are dry apart from north of Auckland where one can expect periods of rain or drizzle.

Light drizzle also for several hours – and I am not on a hill inside a cloud. The %rainfall figure is misleading.
