WeatherWatch.co.nz currently “restructuring”

> From the WeatherWatch archives

WeatherWatch.co.nz is currently going through some internal restructuring – to provide even better content to you.

Our aim is to provide more updates and an even stronger focus on New Zealand forecasts (ie, more than just Auckland) and to provide you with a better forum for discussing your thoughts on our stories, or to share your own personal weather stories/weather readings with other weather enthusiasts.

This is a work in progress and involves a fair bit of work at our end – and we sincerely apologise if some weather news updates are, well, a little further apart than usual.

We want to ensure you that as we work to build a better product for you we will still passionately cover any breaking weather news or severe weather news here in New Zealand, and our current Auckland forecasts are regularly checked and updated…but over the next few weeks you may notice the odd “quiet patch” with our news stories as we invest time putting our thinking caps on.

We invite you to share your dream ideas as to what could make this site even better for you – post a comment below or send us a message using the Contact Us form above.  We really look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for all your support!

– The entire team at WeatherWatch.co.nz

You all will be made redundant then WW will be based from China or Mexico to cut costs… 🙂

Look forward to seeing the site upgrade.

Have you given any thought into including a link to the data available from the many personal weather stations throughout New Zealand?

These are currently available from another, overseas based, site but its a bit clunky. I travel quite a bit and find it kinda handy to check the Wx conditions in pretty much real time through the route I’m planning to take (esp when on a motor bike). Yeah I know, I need to get out more…

Thats much better! Added to favourites, clunky overseas site deleted.

Thanks
