No let-up in the rainfall, for the Northland farmers worst affected by this winter’s severe weather events.
The latest round of bad weather has been normal spring conditions for many farms.
But Federated Farmers Northland president Roger Ludbrook says for others, the unrelenting rainfall is a major cause for concern.
He says those storms in July and the ongoing rainfall has still left some farmers facing very uncertain futures, and they are under no less pressure.
Roger Ludbrook says some dairy farmers are struggling.
